第一课时 (Story time)

教学目标:

1.能正确运用日常交际用语:What does he/she do? He/She is a  . . .

2.能听懂、会说、会读单词:writer, factory, worker, sick, people

3.理解对话内容,能用正确的语音语调朗读对话,并尝试表演对话。

4.能运用所学简单介绍自己的家人与工作,感受父母工作的不易!

5.学会尊重每一份职业。

教学重难点:

重点:能正确理解对话内容,朗读对话,初步表演对话。

难点:初步感知和运用动词的一般现在时第三人称单数形式。

教具准备:

单词卡片,人物图片,多媒体

教学过程:

一、Warming up

1.Greet and say

T:Hello,boys and girls.I’m your new English teacher today. You can call me “Doreen”.

2.Guess and learn

T: Do you want to know more about me?

S: Yes.

T: I will give you some numbers. Please guess the meanings of the numbers.

T: There are five kinds of jobs in my family.What are they? I will show you.

  You know I’m a teacher. (学习tea     teach     teacher)

My son is a student.He’s good at English too.

My father is an accountant.He is good at Maths.

My mother is a housewife. He does a lot of things for my family

My husband is a government worker.  (学习homework    work    worker)   

He helps children.He helps people in need.(学习help people)

二、Presentation

(一)看图整体感知

1.Ask and say

T: We’re talking about jobs.Mike and Su Hai are talking about jobs too.What do you want to know?Do you have any questions?

S:Whose jobs?

What are their jobs? What do they do?     Unit5 What do they do?

Where do they work?

T:You have many good questions.Look at the pictures.Whose jobs are they talking about?

S:They are are talking bout Mike’s and Su Hai’s parents’ jobs.
(二)学习第一部分文本(Mike’s parents’ jobs

1.Finish and learn

T:They’re talking about Mike’s parents’ jobs first.What does Mike’s father do?Look at the picture.There is an English book in his hand.(Tip:Sometimes the pictures can help you.)
