教学内容Story time  

教学目标:

1. 能听懂、会读、会说:

Wet floor, No littering, No eating or drinking, a restaurant, No smoking, shopping centre, smell, careful, take ... into。

2. 能听懂、会读、会说日常用语:

What does it mean? It means … No littering/parking/smoking/ … You can/can’t …。

3. 能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

4. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语谈论公共场所标志的含义。

Step 1 Warm up

1. Phonics time: 元音字母组合发音视频

【设计意图】:课前Phonics语音磨耳朵,日积月累式的培养孩子自然拼读能力。

2. Free talk

T: What did you for the National Day holiday?

S: I went to ...

T: What did you do there?

S: I visited ...

T: Did you ...?

S: Yes, I did.

T: Do you want to know my holiday? Any questions for me?

S:(请生尝试问我一些关于国庆假期的问题)

T: I took a lot of interesting photos. Let’s enjoy!

观看第一组照片

T: What do you think of these pictures?

S: They are ...

T: Do you like them?

Ss: ...

T: What about these pictures? (出示第二组照片) Do you find something special?

S: ... (请生说一说,从而引出课题)

【设计意图】以学生熟悉的周边环境为导火索,引出课题Signs。

Step 2 Pre-reading

1. T: Boys and girls, where can we see the signs?

S: We can see them ...(地方)

T: 如果生答不上来,可提示Can we see signs in our school?

So we can see signs in our school.

然后再去引导孩子说说在哪些地方可以看见标识。

Ss: We can see them ...

T: Wow, so signs are everywhere! And different signs mean different things.

2. T: Here comes our friend, they’re Mike, Helen and Tim.

Can they see any signs?

S: Yes.

T: Of course, they do. They see a lot of signs, because signs are everywhere.

T: What signs do they see? Let’s watch and choose.

3. T: Let’s learn about these signs. Can you read them?Let’s try!

(根据自然拼读方式,让学生试读以上短语)

4. T: Where do they these signs? Let’s listen and find. Listen carefully and try to get the key words. (回答时,板书完成表格Where?信息)

【设计意图】:通过看动画的形式,让学生初步感知文本,以及了解文本的大概内容,为下面的深度阅读铺垫。

Step 3 While-reading

1. (Careful-reading)

T: Our friends see “Wet floor.” at the shopping centre. Let’s do carefully reading, read Paragraph 1,try to find “What does it mean?”

学生细读课文找到Wet floor. 的含义

S: It means the floor is wet.(板书)

T: So they should be careful! 领会Be carefully 的意思选择,正确的中文含义

T: Let’s warn them “Be carefully!”

跟录音读第一语段,注意语音语调

T: Pay attention to these signs. 升调/降调/重读

2. T: What about other signs?Please do self- reading, and try to finish the table.

1) T: What does it mean?

S: It means you can’t litter here.

2) S: What does it mean?

S: It means you can’t eat or drink here./ you can’t smoke here.(师生互问,生生互问来完成板书)

3. It’s time to read. Let’s read after the tape.

跟录音读2-4语段,注意语音语调,

在跟读第四个阅读时,觉得smell这个词的含义

Read after me.

Read together.

Read in roles.

retell the story.

【设计意图】通过教师教——教师扶——教师放,三个维度,让学生通过教师的引领,习得文本阅读的技能,学以致用。

Step 4 After-reading

1. T: Do you know the story well now?

S: Yes!

T: Really? Let me check.

2. Fill in the blanks.(完成练习)

教学反思:

本节课我所教授的教学内容是译林版新教材6a Unit5 Signs Story Time板块。讲的是是关于一系列公共标志的事情。因为新教材在语篇中加入了情境以及发生的事件,学生易于通过课文故事感受新知。为此,我从一开始就没有破坏课本原有的语境。通过Mike、Helen和Tim三个人物一天的活动展开了教学,且在语篇整体教学中教授新知。
因为教学对象是六年级学生,是高年级,学生已经有了一定的认知水平。为此,这节课我主要与学生交流为主,没有太多的游戏环节。学生通过我的一步步有效引导,他们可以自主探究出所需掌握的语法点。与此同时,在Practice部分,我注重让学生听并模仿重复句子,引导学生在模仿时注意语音语调,学生们一个个比赛一样,尽自己最大的努力跟读句子,做到了对发音标准的不断追求。
且本学期,学校教学要求使用Smart白板教学,为了能够充分发挥白班的优势,以flash活动调动学生学习英语、大胆发言的积极性。如让学生自己上台将答案与问题匹配,学生可以通过这一环节与课堂互动。学生的学习兴趣积极高扬,这节课的高效算是基本达成了。
