Step1 Pre-reading 1. Enjoy a video Q: What’s the video about ? 2. Look and say Q: What do you know about the bears? What can they do? What food do they eat? Where do they live? Teach : cave Q: What do you think of the bears? Teach :fierce, grizzly bears, growl Growling is the most important skill to help them live in the world better. Step2 While -reading 1. Look and say Q: Talk about the cover. Teach: a bee hive 2. Introduce Jigsaw Reading Step 1. Read in a Jigsaw Group. Step 2. Read in an Expert Group. Step 3. Read in a Jigsaw Group again. 3. Learn the story using Jigsaw Reading Step 1 Q:What do you know about Bella? Each student gets one part story, read in the original groups silently. Then discuss in groups based on the question What do you know about Bella.
Step 2 Read in Experts groups. While reading in the Expert Groups, they need to read and discuss together. After that, share the story with the rest of the students. They can choose to read or act.
Q: Which part do you like best? Step 3 Read the story with feelings in the Original Group again.
Step 3 Post-reading 1. Read and Retell the story 2. Think and share What do you know from the story?
