本文是说明文，作者使用了叙述性的语言，通过一些重点短语介绍扎龙的现状，生词较多。
整体设计思路：①利用生动有趣的小视频导入课堂，激发学生阅读期待。（激活旧知）
②从阅读观鸟协会的一篇文章出发，先整体快速阅读，掌握每段大意。再分部分阅读，从介绍扎龙的基本情况、介绍鸟儿、鸟儿面临的问题、几点保护措施，层层展开。再回到标题，思考为什么扎龙是一个特殊的地方？特殊在哪？整个过程教师指导学生借助图片和思维导图对文章的脉络进行梳理，在理解文本的基础上进一步探究作者的写作思路和意图。（学习理解、应用实践）
③读后阶段则着重是小组活动，观鸟协会准备为来扎龙观鸟的游客制作一个旅行
指南，再鼓励学生提出更多可以保护鸟儿的方法，帮助学生提高保护自然的意识。
