There are some environmental problems, educational problems, medical problems and housing problems in the city.
Step 2 While—reading
1. Problems
(1)Listen and choose.
Question: What problem are they talking about?
T: Yes, Miss Li and her students are doing a class project about environmental problems of their city. Let’s do the class project with them. The subject is “ Keep our city clean”.
Teach: keep (sweep—keep) clean (A.打扫 B.干净的)
(2)Look and say.

S: It is not clean. It’s dirty.
Teach: dirty (not clean)

Step4 Conclusion
Jiangyin is a small but beautiful city. Some places are clean, but some are not. There are still some environmental problems. But as people of Jiangyin, we live in this city. We should love it and keep it clean. It’s a job for us. Do what we can do. Start from us, start from now.
