教学内容】丽声北极星分级绘本三年级下江苏版Fox and Mother Hen

            三下第六单元绘本融合课

教学目标】

知识目标

1. 通过歌曲、游戏、编唱等活动,能听懂、熟练说出核心词汇onetwothreefourfivesixseveneightnineteneleventwelve;并能结合名词进行口头表达。

能力目标

1. 通过对图片信息和文字信息的阅读,能够了解故事的主要人物twelve chicksMother HenFox能够梳理故事的经过,并模仿故事人物情绪的变化。

2.通过略读、细读等阅读策略指导,掌握一定阅读技巧

情感目标

1.学生能思考母亲在哺育孩子过程中的责任与付出,从而领悟到母亲的勇敢与辛苦付出。

教学重难点

1.通过对绘本的阅读,掌握一定的阅读策略,例如:根据封面对故事进行预测;利用图片环游对故事发展展开想象;通过对人物心理的揣摩对语言进行编创模仿;进行角色扮演从而强化对故事主旨的理解等。

2.通过对绘本的表演,体会“母爱伟大”的深刻意义。

教学准备】《丽声北极星分级绘本三年级上》Fox and Mother Hen,希沃课件、自制板贴、动物头饰    

教学过程】

Step 1: Warming-up

Enjoy a video about animals.

T:What animals can you find from the video?

S:I can find ...(some chicks,a lion,a fox, some birds,a chicken...)

T:What animals do you like?

S:I like ...

T:Why?

S:Because it is...

T:What do you think of the fox and the chicks?

S:I think the fox likes the chicks, but chicks doesnt.

设计意图:通过画面丰富节奏明快的视频呈现了许多动物,结合动物展开Free talk活跃了课堂气氛,调动了学生的学习热情,也为下面的阅读做好铺垫。

Step2 Skimming

1. Read the cover

TToday we will read a picture book about animals.

T: What can you find from the cover?

  S: I can find... I think he/she is...

     I can find... I think the title is ...

T:Where are they?

S:They are in the garden.

设计意图:学生通过观察了解了封面信息,并引发自我的推测I think...,由此掌握一定的阅读方法并养成良好的阅读习惯。

2. Read and think

  T: What does Mother Hen do?

     What do you want to know?

S: Why does Mother Hen hit Fox? Guess.

S: Maybe the fox wants to catch the chicks.

   Maybe the fox wants to eat her eggs.

T: Let’s read the book quickly.(20 seconds)  

  Who knows why?

S: Because he wants to catch the chicks.

Q: How do you know that?

S: I read the pictures and some words.

Tip: Pictures and key words help get the general idea quickly.

设计意图:通过图片观察及猜测激活了学生思维,并激发了阅读兴趣。利用图片环游掌握了故事情节,渗透了图片阅读的重要策略。

3. Think and order

THere are 4 pictures,let’s try to order.

 Who wants to come to the blackboard?

4. Read and findplaces and pages

  T: Now we know the story goes like this:(4 scenes)

Where are they? Let’s read the book again.

Try to find the places and circle.

  S: In the kitchen. In the garden. In the sack. In the garden.

T: We know on page 4, Mother Hen is in the kitchen.

  What about her chicks? Discuss with your partner.

SOn page 3-5,chicks are in the garden.

   On page 6-9,chicks are in the sack.

On page 10-11,chicks are in the garden.

Tip: Words help get more information.

设计意图:通过图片排序了解故事发展过程;通过自读圈划地点关键词掌握具体信息;通过同桌合作进行故事分段。通过阅读,讨论及思考,学生能够整体感知故事内容,并渗透了通过文字阅读来获取更多信息的阅读策略。

Step 3 Detailed Reading

Divide the story into 4 scenes.

1. Observe, imagine and talk

  T: Mother Hen is in the kitchen. She is ...  (听厨房的声音)

S: She is cooking in the kitchen.(sweeping, washing...)

She is busy in the kitchen.(hot, tired, happy...)

  T: What about her chicks?

  S: Her chicks play in the garden.

  T: Look, we are chicks.(戴头套)We play in the garden. How nice!

     What about you ?

  S: I jump in the garden. One, two, three, jump!

I run in the garden. Come and join me.     

I play football in the garden.

设计意图:利用图片以及声音带给学生更为丰富的多维度感受,引导学生挖掘故事背后的细节,并尝试进行鲜活的角色体验,从而带来身临其境般的阅读感受。

2. Play a game

T: Let’s play a game together! Please do the actions and say the numbers.

T: Are you happy? Ss: Yes. Chicks are very happy .

(恐怖音乐)Oh, what happened?

S:A fox comes with a sack.

T: What does he want to do?

S: He wants to catch the chicks. The fox is ... (happy)

T: What does Fox think? Who can be Fox?

S: Oh, chicks, nice dinner. Little chicks, so nice.

  A big dinner, I’m so happy.

设计意图:同时利用小游戏,再次复现了本课的核心词汇,活跃课堂气氛,并为下面故事的转折烘托了氛围。

3.Think and say

T: Can Fox catch the chicks?   S: No, the chicks jump too high.

T: Can Fox catch the chicks now?  

S: Yes, the chicks jump far. They jump into the sack.

The fox is ...(very happy)

设计意图:挖掘绘本中图片的小细节,学生进行观察、讨论,思考;通过尝试与发现,了解小鸡如何跳进了麻袋里,增强了故事的趣味性。并对朗朗上口的歌曲进行换词改编,更有代入感,帮助学生体会Fox的心情变化。

4.Count the chicks with a song.

   Twelve chicks are in the sack. The fox is ...(very very happy)

5.Think and feel

  T: How are they now?

  S: The chicks are scared. Mother Hen is

angry. The fox is happy.

设计意图:利用大问题引发学生思维上的衍生,揣摩3个角色此时的心境,思考角色的心情与语气,并尝试编创角色的语言,为下面的表演环节做足铺垫。

  T: What will Chicks say?  What about Mother Hen and Fox?

  S: Help, help. Where is my mum?  Oh ,my babies. Haha, nice dinner.

6.Act and share

  T: Let’s act the story from page10-11.

Work in groups.(1.discuss 2.act 3.share)

设计意图:通过小组合作进行角色扮演,帮助学生理清故事思路,促进语言的内化与运用。学生可以感受到小组合作带来的快乐,进一步感受阅读及表演的魅力。

Step4 Think of mother’s love.

1.Enjoy the whole story.

T: At last, Fox goes home with an empty sack.

S: He is sad.

T: But Mother Hen saved her babies.

T: What do you think of Mother Hen?

S: She is ...(strong, great, nice, brave...)

T: Why?

S: Because Mother Hen is not very big, but she can save her babies. She can drive the fox away.

设计意图:通过对全文的整体感受,加深对文本的理解,引导学生评价主人公,体会鸡妈妈的母爱,思维延伸到现实生活,感受母爱的伟大。

TWhat do you think of your mother?

S: She is (beautiful, funny, smart, cool...)

T: Why?

S: Because my mom can cook for me. Because my mom can help me study. Because my mom makes me happy.

T: Mom can do everything for us. Mother’s love is great.

2. T: How do you love your mother?

   S: Give mum a big hug.

   S: Say‘I love you’to mum.

   S: Do something for mum.  

3. Enjoy a video.

设计意图:通过直观的视频展示,让学生了解‘All about my mom’的 卡片形式,帮助学生搭建了更为丰富的语言支架,并引导学生利用整段的输出形式进行情感表达,实现情感的升华。

4. Make a card about mum.

5. Share and feel.

S: This is my mom. She is... She is ... Her favorite food is ... She likes .... She is the best, because she can ... I ... for mom. I love my mom.

T: Our love is like a stream, but mother’s love is like an ocean. Let’s say‘I love you’to mum.

Step5 Homework

1. Share the story to your friends.

2.Show your‘love’to mum.

3.Read more picture books about‘mother'.
