5A Unit5 What do they do?教学设计

教材分析:

本单元的主要教学内容是职业名称和工作内容,同时继续呈现了动词的一般现在时第三人称单数形式及用法。教学重点是职业类动词和句型What do you do?和What does he/she do?及其回答 He/She is a . . .的语调和用法。教师在课前要求学生了解家人的职业和具体工作内容,为课堂教学做准备。教师还要多关注第三人称单数形式动词的变化,因为学生有时会忘记用第三人称单数动词形式,有的学生其实是知道的,只是在运用的过程中会有忘记的现象,针对这个情况,在教学上老师还是要让学生多进行操练,以达到熟能生巧的程度。针对职业类的单词,大部分学生已经接触过,学起来没有什么问题。整个单元的内容,只要老师好好引导学生学习,学生的学习效果应该还是不错的。

教学内容

story time(period 1)

教学目标:

1.理解、掌握对话内容,能用正确的语音语调朗读对话,并初步表演对话。

2.能正确运用日常交际用语:What does he/she do? He/She is a teacher/ worker/factory/writer . . .

3.能听懂、会说、会读单词:writer,at home,sick,people,factory,cook,driver,farmer,policeman.

教学重点:

1.能正确理解对话内容,朗读对话,初步表演对话。

1.能正确理解对话内容,朗读对话,初步表演对话。

2.词汇factory等的正确发音,以及第三人称单数时的用法:What does he/she do? He/She is a teacher/ worker/factory/writer . . .

一. Warming up

T:What’s this song about?

Ss:Jobs.

二. Presentation:

1.T: This song is about “jobs”,let’s play a game (guessing game)

复习单词:a cook  a driver  a teacher

            a nurse a farmer  a policeman

2.Let’s play another game “Magic eyes”

T:What does he do?

  S:He’s a doctor .  (pair work)

T:What does she do?

S:She’s a worker.

  S:前面是动词,后面是名词。

(某些动词在词尾加上er或者r之后,就变成了名词,表示某一类人)
