Unit 3 Is this your pencil?(Period One)

1. 语言知识目标

(1)能听懂、会说、会读isn’t ,that’s , pencil case, schoolbag, crayon。

(2)能听懂、会说、会读、会写pencil, pen, ruler.

(3)能听懂、会说、会读、会运用句型Is this/ that your pencil? 向别人提问,并能回答 Yes, it is. /No, it isn’t.

(4)初步掌握一般疑问句,培养学生口语交际能力。

(1) Is this/ that your pencil? 向别人提问,并能回答 Yes, it is. /No, it isn’t.

(2) 培养学生的听、说能力和交际能力。

3. 情感目标

(1)让学生体验学习、参与、合作能力。

(2)通过情景的设置和表演,激发学生在生活中乐于使用英语的兴趣。


教学重点:

(1)能听懂、会说、会读isn’t ,that’s , pencil case, schoolbag, crayon。

(2)能听懂、会说、会读、会写pencil, pen, ruler.

(3)能听懂、会说、会读、会运用句型Is this/ that your pencil? 向别人提问,并能回答 Yes, it is. /No, it isn’t.

(4)初步掌握一般疑问句,培养学生口语交际能力。

教学难点:根据课本内容进行复述并表演。


Step 1 Warming up

1. 欣赏歌谣What’s this?

2. Game: 快速反应,读词组。(有关动作、文具)

 

Step 2 Presentation

1. Is this a …? Is that a …? Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.  ruler, pen, pencil, pencil case:

Look and guess:. Ask Ss to use the sentence patterns to communicate with T.

Eg. Is that/this a rubber? No, a ruler.

Attention: pen, pencil, pencil case

2. crayon, schoolbag:

Look and say: Is this a pen? No, it isn’t. It’s a crayon.

Look and read: Where are they now ?  Show: They’re in the schoolbag.

 

3. Play a game: Super plate.

 

Step 3 Story time

1. T:Look! Mike is nervous. What happens to him?

 

2. T asks: what does Mike look for?  Who helps Mike?

Watch the cartoon, answer and choose:

What does Mike look for? (Pencil.)

How do you know?

(2) Who helps Mike?  (Liu Tao and Yang Ling)

 

3. 学习P2-4

T: How do they help Mike?让学生在文中找到适当的句子并用线划起来。

4. 学习P4

(1)Suddenly, Mike finds the pencil. How does he say?

跟录音学习语调。

(2) T: 杨玲为什么问Is that a pencil? 再学习Yes, it is. 的语调和连音。

5. Practice of reading:

after the record -> after the T -> read in groups -> group show -> read together.

 

6. 给动画配音。

 

Step 4 Consolidation

1.  Summary:

T: 当我们询问某物是不是某人的,可以说?

当我们肯定对方答案时,可以说?

当我们否定对方答案时,可以说?

Let me give you a word: Be a helpful child!

 

2.  (Show some backgrounds.) T: Mike can’t find his pencil case and pen. What can we do? What can we say? Please act in groups.
