1. Enjoy a song: I have a pet.
2. Free-talk
1)Talk about the song and pets.
Q1:What animal can you see in this song?
Q2: Where do you see these animals?
Q3: Can we eat them?
Q4: Can they work for us?
Q5:They live with us and sometimes can be our friends or family. We call them pets.
Teach: pets
2) Talk about students’ pets.
Qs: Do you have a pet? What pets do you have? Tell us something about your pets.
3) Talk about teacher’s pet.
T: I have a cat. Do you want to see it? Do you want to know something about him? You can try to ask me.
Ss: (Students ask questions about the cat. Some of the questions can be answered by the other students.)
