一、教学内容
译林版牛津小学英语·六下第八单元Story time 第一课时
二、教学目标
1. 知识目标
(1) 能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词dream, future, take care of.
(2) 能听懂、会说、会读单词care about, astronaut, spaceship, football player, World Cup, dancer, pianist, come true.
(3) 能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型What do you want to be in the future? I want to be …
(4) 能正确地理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读、复述对话内容。
(5) 初步感知“连读”这一朗读技巧。
2. 技能目标
能正确运用句型What do you want to be in the future? I want to be …谈论梦想。
3. 情感态度目标
引导学生树立正确的人生价值观,心怀梦想,做一个充满梦想的人。
三、教学重难点
(1) 能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词dream, future, take care of.
(2) astronaut, pianist, spaceship等词的读音。
(3) 能正确运用句型What do you want to be in the future? I want to be …谈论梦想。

Step1 Pre—reading
1.Enjoy & sing
Enjoy a song: <What do you do?> and try to sing the song.
[设计意图]:让学生在轻松愉悦的氛围中,感知今天所要学习的有关职业的内容,激发学生的学习兴趣,同时为free talk的内容What does your father/mother do?做铺垫。
2. Talk & learn
T: What’s the song about?
What other jobs do you know?
评价性语言:
① doctor—A doctor helps sick people. He must be very busy.
② nurse—A nurse helps sick people, too. She sometimes has to work at weekends.
③ farmer—A farmer grows vegetables and plants flowers. We can’t live without farmers.
④ cook—A cook cooks nice food. I like this job. Do you like cooking?
⑤ driver—A driver drives cars and buses.
⑥ teacher—A teacher teaches a lot of students, just like me. Do you want to be a teacher, too? If you want to be a teacher, you should study hard now.
⑦ policeman—A policeman catches thieves and protects our city. It is a cool job.
⑧ worker—Different workers do different jobs. Some workers build houses. Some workers sweep the streets and some workers make new products.

[设计意图]:free talk复习了之前学过的八个职业类单词,为talk & learn环节做好铺垫,同时与上面的歌曲相呼应。在学生说到每个职业时,教师都给予适当的不同的评价,为下面want to do打好基础。
T: We have so many different kinds of jobs. Among these jobs, what’s your favourite job?
S: My favourite job is a …
T: Do you want to be a … in the future?
S: Yes, I do./No, I don’t.

[设计意图]:在教授新单词,通过已学单词引出新单词的学习,旧知带新知,降低学生学习难度。

T: Look, Miss Li and her students are talking about their dreams too.

[设计意图]:不是直接灌输,而是通过教师一步步的引导和帮助猜测学生们正在做的事情,体现了以学生为主体的教学理念。

[设计意图]:对Story time处理的第一步是通过播放卡通,从整体上感知整个故事,找出文中提到的六个关于职业的新单词并进行教学。Watch and tick这种形式难度低,对于第一课时整体感知故事这个环节来说,难易程度是恰当的。

T: When I was young, I liked dancing very much and I wanted to be a dancer, because I thought dancers were very beautiful.

[设计意图]:情感教育并不都是到最后才呈现的,有时可以体现在教学过程中,比如这里在讲到弹钢琴时,就可以渗透“做事要坚持”的情感教育。

[设计意图]:在教授新单词时,通过名词加er或r变成动词,以旧带新,音标等方式降低学生朗读的难度并适当对每个职业给予评价。
3. T: The students want to be a writer, a dancer, a football player, a pianist, a dentist and an astronaut.
教an astronaut的连读
[设计意图]:虽然“连读”这个语言点是Sound time的内容,但是作为本单元的一个重难点,既然在大课文中涉及到了,就应该进行适当的教学,让学生先有一个初步的概念,为之后的教学打下基础。

[设计意图]:通过猜测的方式不仅可以操练want to be这个句型,还可以激发学生学习兴趣。
