一、教学内容:Cartoon time, Sound time and Culture time
二、教学目标:
1. 能通过情景学习感知字母air在单词中发音,并通过绕口令练习其他的字母组合的发音规律。
2. 能综合运用语言复述Story Time澳大利亚的情况、模仿学习并逐步学会介绍其他国家的概括,逐步建构独立说、写同一类型语篇的能力;通过了解和介绍不同国家的旅游景点,不断拓展国际视野,树立跨文化意识。
3. 能通过自主阅读卡通故事体会其中的幽默之处和人物的情感,通过小组合作表演和创新故事,树立树目标、定计划、重行动的理念。
三、教学重点:
1. 自读自悟卡通故事,训练语言技能和阅读理解能力。
2. 自读自学字母组合air在单词的发音
3. 模仿总述、分述、描述的结构介绍、描写不同国家的概况

2. 理解并深情并茂地表演故事

Step1. Warm up and Lead in
Watch the micro-video
T: Hello, everyone. Did you learn this micro -video before this class?
T: In this lesson, we will go on learning Unit 6 An interesting country.
What will we learn ? First, I’ d like to show you some records and videos.
(Watch and listen)
T: Guess! What will we learn later?
S: We will learn ...
T: To learn them well, What will you do?
S: I will (listen, speak, talk, read about, write, learn about, learn about)
T: Excellent plans for the new lesson. When we make the plans, we always use“will do” or “be going to do”.

A. Cartoon time
(a) Understanding
T: Which part do you like? Maybe the cartoon time. Let’s start with Billy. Read the cartoon by your own, then finish one of the three tasks.
Task1: Give a name to the Cartoon.
Task2: I can cook nice food easily. It’s just a piece of cake. (小菜一碟)
I think Billy isn’t really good at cooking.

(b) Experiencing
T: Look at the sentences. Choose and read which you like, feel the different emotions and match the QQ face

(a) Say something about Australia
T: In fact, Australia is a beautiful country, and interesting too. From the story , we learned many interesting things about Australia with the Children.
1. Introduce to others (In the group, each student must say one sentence)
2. Think and order
So what do you think of this country?
Oh, that’s your general impression about this country.
T: Do you like it? Will you go and visit there? What will do there?
T: I know that is your plan.
To introduce a country clearly, what will we do? Read and order.
(b) Introduce our country to others.
T: Our country, China is a very big and nice. Many people visit it every year. What interesting places do you know? Work in pairs and have a report.
(c) Enjoy the pictures about the world
T: What a nice country! I like traveling. I visited many countries like Korea , Japan, Singapore. They are all different. Where did you visit? Did you speak English there?
Learn English, Know the world. Next, let’s learn more interesting places. Follow me.
T: Did you find some information about these places? Let’s share, you can speak in Chinese if you can’t.
T: Do you like other interesting places?
(D) Have an introduction of the country
T: After enjoying different interesting places of the world, let’s talk about your favorite county, why do you like it?
T: We talked a lot of the countries. Now, time to write an introduction. You can write about China, it’s good. You can introduce the UK and The US. Great! You can also make a challenge to write other countries. That’s excellent!!
T: OK. Let’s share the introductions.
T: You are good at having introductions. By the way, do you have a plan to visit there in the holiday? But first you must tell your parents about it, and find more and more culture of the country. Then make a plan and follow the plan.
