五下Unit4 Seeing the doctor教学设计

一、教学目标:

知识目标:

1.复习疾病类单词,并拓展新单词 stomach ache, backache, earache

2.复习并熟练掌握ch字母组合在单词中的两种发音。

3.能熟练使用本单元句型What’ s wrong with you? You have… You should/shouldn't…询问关心他人,给出建议并进行对话。拓展句型 How do you feel now?

4.能运用I have… I feel…What should/ shouldn’t I do?寻求帮助。

技能目标:运用本单元日常交际用语,谈论疾病,并学会给出合理的建议。

情感目标:让学生在学习过程中了解贴近生活的不同的就医方式,并体会预防疾病和保持健康的重要性,帮助养成良好的生活习惯和方式,学会健康生活。

二、教学重点:

1.复习并学会疾病类拓展词汇 stomach ache, backache, earache

2.复习本单元核心句型What’ s wrong with you? You have/an... You should/ shouldn’t have an.... What should do? How do you feel? I feel....等,学生能在情景中正确、熟练地运用。

3.复习并熟练掌握ch字母组合在单词中的两种发音。

三、教学难点:

学生能在情景中正确、熟练地运用What’ s wrong with you? You have/an...you should/shouldn't.. I have a/an... What should I do? How do you feel? I feel...进行对话交际。

四、教学过程:

 Step l Self-introduction

1. T: Good morning! I’m your new teacher today. I’m from Jiang yin. My Chinese name is…

2. Know more about Miss Miao

【设计意图】通过思维导图,呈现教师相关信息,让学生在好奇与交流中了解老师。

Step 2 Review sound time

1.通过师生交流,梳理含有ch的单词。

2.总结ch发音/t∫/。

4.启发学生说出更多含有字母ch并发音相同的单词。

【设计意图】通过新老师的身份,巧妙引出ch发音,在情境中复习语音板块,并帮助理解和记忆。

 Step3 Review and practice

1.      T: You know I don't like chocolate, why?Then, what should I do? 

揭题: Today we'll review Unit4 Seeing the doctor

 2. It's easy for us to get sick in our daily life. What illnesses do you know?

拓展疾病名称 stomach ache, backache, earache,并总结词汇构成及ch的另一种发音/k/。

【设计意图】文中出现的是toothache,headache,此处拓展构词方式相同且与学生生活经验密切相关的stomach ache,backache,earache,可以帮助学生由课堂走向课外。

3.Review sentences about seeing the doctor

T: When you get sick, what will you say? What will the doctor say?

复习看病常用语:What’ s wrong with you? Let me check. You have a... You should … You should not ..I have... I can't...What should I do, Doctor?

拓展:How do you feel now?

总结:A good doctor should ask , check and advise carefully. You can use should and shouldn’t to give advice.

4.Give advice  出示3幅图,练习。

Step4. Tim sees the doctor

1.Guess and say

  T: You can be the little doctor now. Oh, Who is crying? What’s wrong with him?

2.Think and choose

【设计意图】 通过改编原来教材的内容设计听音练习,让学生加深巩固前面拓展的疾病名称stomach ache及看病时医生及病人之间的交谈。

3.Establish a case record

4.追问Why does Tim have a stomach ache?----渗透养成好的饮食习惯教育。

5.Tim复诊

(1)Think and say

T: Three days later,(听音) Is he all right?But Mum is so busy,what can she do this time?

She asks the e-doctor for help.

(2)Chat with the e-doctor

生运用What’s wrong with him?How does he feel now?He should… and… He can’t…扮演医生。

【设计意图】 生活中,生病以后,病症的变化是常发生的事,此处延续了教材中的情境,设计Tim复诊环节,妈妈由于太忙而进行网上问诊的方式,也是生活的真实呈现。

Step5 Extend

1.      Let’s remember:

T:From Tim’s experience, we know different situations, different ways to see the doctor.

2.      联系新冠疫情:What should we do to see the doctor now?

【设计意图】现实生活中,人们受新冠影响,就医程序改变了。引导学生联系实际,了解时下正确的就医流程,尝试排序。
