现在流行的英语语言点教学过程主要有以下几个步骤:基于课文的导入,教师创设多种具体语境引导学生归纳总结语言知识,通过在具体情境中进行形式多样的操练来巩固。这种教学模式有利于对课文的进一步理解,有利于学生在具体语境和情境中进行学习,有利于学生掌握语言知识,有利于提高学生的语言运用能力。
我们结合学校的教改实际情况,从学生的实际情况出发,探究实施以学生自主学习和小组合作学习为主的语言点教学方式。突出学生的对语言点的初次自主和再次合作的学习方式,突出学生在每个环节上学习的效果,让学生的学习效果在课堂上尽可能的得到最直观的反应,以评价来促进我们的语言点教学活动。
自主学习和小组合作语言点课型的实施流程:教师经集体备课后设计出语言点学案分发给学生,通过学生自主完成学案发现共性问题,教师根据每个班学生的共性问题进行二次备课,上课;在课堂上通过小组合作和教师答疑来解决语言点学习障碍,并引导学生在具体情境中通过多种途径进行操练巩固升华。
自主学习和小组合作语言点课型的主要特征:以自主学习为基础,做到先学后教,以学定教;以小组合作为学习方式,发挥学生的主体作用;以活动来支撑课堂教学,以评价提升课堂教学。课堂设计更有针对性,课堂语境提供更开放,课堂氛围更浓厚。
自主学习和小组合作语言点实施要点:就教师来讲,先要根据考试大纲,教材和学生的情况,设计学案,要求学案学习目标要合理,并提供切实可行的途径,然后能根据学生的自主学习情况来明确教学目标,把握教学的深度和广度,提供贴近学生生活的具体情景。合理利用各种有效评价手段来调动学生学习的积极性和主动性。就学生来讲,要在教师的引导下认真完成自主学习,积极参与小组合作学习,积极配合老师实施的课堂学习评价。

教学目标:
学案(附件1)Part1: Get students to finish the language items on the learning handouts independently so that the teacher can figure out their common mistakes.
教案(附件2 PPt)Part2: Help students solve their common problems and have a good command of the following language items through discussion, translation, paraphrasing and memorizing so that they can use at least five of the language items to write a short passage about 100 words.

教学过程:
Step1: Revision and presentation
Complete the two short summaries of the two articles with proper words, and some of the words are related to students’ common mistakes.
Step2: Find out the common mistakes on their handouts and discuss them in groups
Step3: Presentation of their discussing outcomes and practice of the usage of the language items in concrete and specific context.
Step4: Summary of the difficult language points as well as other import ones
Step5: Work in group and write a short passage about 100 words by using at least 5 of them.

Step1: Revision and presentation
T: Hi, boys and girls.
S: Hi, Sir.
T: As we all know, different people have different ideas about what makes them happy. For the old, looking back on the old days may be the happiest time while,for the young, imagining the future is likely to be their happiness. Let’s better understand their feelings of happiness by going over the two articles we learned. (complete two short summaries of the two articles in three minutes by filling in the blanks with proper words, including all the language items to be dealt with, one blank one point)
T: Today we’re going to focus on the language points in the two articles.
Step2: Discussion
Here are the common mistakes you’ve made. I’ll allow you ten minutes to discuss them in groups. After that, you’ll get a chance to present your outcomes.(If you solve one problem, you’ll get one point for your group)
Step3:Presentation of their discussion outcomes as well as teacher’s e v a luation and extension. Practice of the language items in concrete context in the form of matching, paraphrase ,translation, picture-talking and so on.
Step4: Consolidation
1. Focus on the summary of the language points
2. Use at least five of the language items to write a short passage about 100 words
on your understanding of happiness.
3. Give students a short passage about my opinion on happiness as an example.
Step5: Homework
polish up your writing and finish consolidating exercises on the handout.
