1、学习reuse and recycle

We can reuse water to mop the floor or water the flowers.
We can collect some old tyres and reuse them to make chairs.
So reuse and recycle means : collect old things and use them again.

Maybe you want to collect some CDs, some paper boxes, some old shoes , old trousers, or some plastic bottles.

六上 U7 Protect the earth 第二课时 教学反思
刚刚得知自己任务时, 我内心很忐忑, 因为没有录过没有学生的网课, 一时间不知该怎么设计更好. 幸好在黄校, 孙校, 和组内陆老师, 卞老师, 邵老师的帮助下, 顺利的录完了课. 现反思如下:
在教学过程中,教学目标起着十分重要的作用.教学活动以教学目标为导向,且始终围绕
实现教学目标而进行.
本节课是第二课时,主要内容为Grammar time 中use … to … , should 用法, Fun time中reuse … to … 和Culture time两个节日,根据以往教学经验,我认为这些内容对孩子来说比较简单, 第二课时是建立在第一课时基础上, 所以我把目标定位在了提升上.在快速复习story time后, 进行知识点教授, 随后将主要部分放在了如何运用部分. 我设计了看图说句子, 创编对话, 写创意书等活动。
在试上中, 我产生了疑惑,活动看着很丰富, 但有效吗?要知道这节课是学生单独在家听课,缺少互动,交流,他能真正的参与到这些活动中来吗? 孙校与同组老师给了我建议, 首先要明白孩子上课背景,它并不是提升课堂内容, 而是更多对课堂内容的的一种预习或者回顾.所以我们课堂的定位, 应该是以书本为主, 把该教的教扎实, 该讲的讲透.作为第二课时,更多应该是继续围绕本单元话题 “ protect the earth”, 对第一课时的巩固,复习, Grammar time, Fun time 知识点讲解,操练扎实, Culture time 背景意义了解清楚。如果说第一课时是了解protect the earth 这一概念,知道通过save这个活动来保护地球,那第二课时就是深入学习protect the earth的方法,复习how to save ,学习 use… to … 和 reuse … to …这两种保护地球的方法。所以本课应该是围绕:save and reuse,复习与学习。
目标不同,教学设计自然也不同,我对课有了新的思考,首先是回顾protect the earth这一概念,复习环节由原来的“回忆课文,判断对错”一个环节,扩充为四个环节,由课题earth, 引入与earth有关系列单词wood , water, coal,energy,对文中重点单词进行复习,随后读一读story time唤醒课文内容回忆,再进行课文内容判断,最后根据上节课大家一起总结出的思维导图进行复述,层层深入,承上启下。
回顾课文后,学生再次明白资源的可贵,那我们可以利用这些资源做什么呢?对于Grammar time中use … to…的用法,我们考虑到有的孩子课外知识不丰富,他也许不知道生活中一些物品的原材料是什么,课堂上会有别的孩子补充,可独自在家,无人可以帮助他。所以,我先进行了一个“说说这些东西原材料”的活动,为孩子接下来的运用打好基础,然后进行对各种物品发挥想象,了解他们的功效。
资源可贵,可这些资源是用之不尽的吗?我用一个小视频让孩子了解了资源的现状,从而引出how to protect the earth. 随后引入culture time了解两个保护地球的节日, 以及我们在这个节日和平时生活中该如何, 最终引发 should save , should reuse and recycle, shouldn’t waste这几个中心话题.由于 reuse … to… 的用法是建立在use … to …上,不需要过多教授,所以又在运用上适当增加了一些内容,培养孩子语言综合运用能力。
最后通过作业“find more ways to protect the earth”,引发孩子更多思考,为下节课 make a poster做好准备。
令人遗憾的是,reuse与recycle有所区别,但在短短二十分钟内,似乎很难讲明白,最后放弃了进一步辨析,在接下来还会继续思考,希望能够解决这个遗憾。
