教学目标】

1.      知识目标

(1)    能整体理解短文,听说读短文。

(2)    能听懂、会说单词及词组:beanbags, play with ropes, tug of war, marble, top, hide and seek, clapping games, jigsaw puzzles。

(3)    能听懂、会说日常交际用语:

In the past, they used to.......

In the present, they like.......

2.      技能目标

 (1) 能用正确的句式表述过去和现在孩子玩的不同游戏,学会比较。

(2) 能学会用思维导图读懂文章,梳理信息。

3. 情感目标

 (1) 能体会随着时代的变迁,身边事物和生活方式的改变。在接受变化的同时,学会尊重、吸纳、传承传统中可取的地方。

【教学重难点】

(1) 能用正确的句式表述过去和现在人们从事的不同事情。

(2) 能学会用思维导图读懂文章,梳理信息。

(3) 理解变化,学会尊重和传承。

【教学过程】

Step1: pre-reading:

   读前:激活原有图式,激发阅读兴趣

1.Talk about Sunny in the present

T: I’m very happy to be here with you. Let’s chat with each other. Do you have any questions about me?

T: Here’s a short video about me. Watch carefully, you will find the answer.

     仔细观察,寻找信息,自己组织语言进行表达。

2.Talk about Sunny in the past

T: Look at the photo, who is it?

T:Try to guess

What animals did I like? What food did I use to eat? What hobbies did I use to have?

 You may use “You used to……”

T: I used to play a lot of outdoor games:Chickens VS Eagles, play with ropes.

  skip ropes, play tug of war.(教授)

T: Let me play a trick.

3.Know sth about an outline

T: You see in the past, I used to be an active girl. But in the present, I am a fair lady.

  熟悉in the past, in the present

  比较老师小时候和现在的对比,引导学生发现。提出主题:changes

Step2: while-reading:

  读中:理解文本内容,掌握思维方式

1.整体感知文本

T: From the past to the present, things have changed a lot. I am going to show you a small passage. Let’s listen and answer: what has changed?

 

2.提供解读模式,小组合作

T:I have two questions:

What games did children use to play in the past?

What games do children like playing in the present?

Learn the outline

To make an outline, what should we do?

 Discuss the tips with the students.

(1)   We should read and underline the key information.

(2)   We can talk and draw.

(3)   We can say sth about the games and try to play the games in the past.

 请一组学生上黑板,与老师共同完成思维导图。

小组活动: (1)Read in the group, teach each other.

         (2) Discuss and finish the outline.

         (3)Try to play the games.

3.      学习新知,了解文本内涵

Check and show

T: Can you show me your outline? Are you right?

  Let’s discuss the games.

  Learn: play with beanbags, play with marbles and tops, play hide and seek, play clapping games, jigsaw puzzles

1.学生自主教,了解音形义,必要时教师给予帮助。

2.尝试让学生体验各种游戏的快乐,玩中学。

3.通过思维导图的清晰指引,学习细节语言的表达。

 

Step3: Post-reading

 读后:拓展应用提升,凸显文化价值

1.Discuss the topic:What has changed in our daily life? (延伸到生活)

2. Learn how to use the outline

以学生的回答为基础,选择一个话题,学习自己制作图式,清晰地阐述自己的话题,表明自己的观点。

Step4:Summary

1.What’s our topic today? Is it good? Why or why not?

2.A useful way to learn: make an outline.

 

Step5: Homework

1. Write a short passage about the changes.(using the kind of outline)
